Each airfoil sports interlocking retainers and a full-length airfoil restraint system, while the 19-inch (483-millimeter) spar hub system features two flexible plates with an aluminum spacer, ¼-inch (6.35-millimeter) steel retainers, and pin and collar rivet fasteners to more evenly distribute force load and reduce fatigue at attachment points.
